Making IoT smart gun? Why not?
Sometimes I think, could we possible change the world by technology? Much people do not like technology after the nuclear bomb, fighter plane invention, gun and so on. Someone hate the computer because AI replace simple labors and their losing job.
When I am visit Santa Clara, I met @Andrei Berar he was my mentor, recommended my works and has some advice. He say to me, is that possible the security product adapt to school? Just small time after, I have a bright idea for school children. The idea was so much good, I would like to share the thinking with you.
I have a one question.
What is most favorite goods in USA, on back to school season ? That has some sad story, bulletproof backpack. There are 39 children was killed every year at the school with gun. So the parents want to buy backpack for protection gun fire. Is that enough? No, I don't think so. When does it start accept bad thing and avoid a social problem, instead of change the world! I don’t like it, and I want to make a world more safe.
So, I am suggest one solution of that. What about it, does we making a IoT smart Gun. The IoT Gun is not fire around the school. They had to have a permission of fire from server, if somebody want to fire the gun. We could have some constrained function. For example, just shot one or two bullet before permission of government in case of machine gun of hundred of firing.
Another solution is combined fire with fingerprint. Maybe it’s not occurred small children’s accident firing in case of just play with gun. Maybe it is usual, but if IoT gun making, adding of that is quite a simple function.
Why don't we making a IoT gun, even we think door lock. Somebody think, it is very difficult to making it. But as of electronic device view, it is quite a simple. You just use mobile phone and communicate government server and get the fire permission. I am not mechanical engineer but of engineering software or circuit IC. At the view of IoT, it is quite a simple. Anybody want to making a IoT smart gun. Please join me and contact me, we could make a more secure world
